Magnolia grandiflora Praecox
Impressive creamy-white flowers can be seen through the summer, and are my favourite feature of this tree. They can be as large as 30cm wide! Reaching approximately 10-12m tall when mature, these specimens are best suited to a medium to small garden.

Stunning in winter months! My main reason for choosing Parrotia is for the dark, crimson red flowers they produce. Bursting out of dark velvety, fuzzy buds in winter. They offer interest at a time when most other species are bare.
Find out moreHamamelis x intermedia Arnold Promise
I do love autumn colour and unusual flowers. Offering a dense, tidier habit, the ‘Arnold Promise’ trumps Hamamelis x intermedia ‘Jelena’ for me. Bright, buttery yellow flowers appear in the spring. These crinkly petals remind me of lemon peel!
